After your event

Once you have completed your Girls Night In event, and all the donations have been collected, you need fulfil your host commitment by sending the funds back to the Cancer Council by Friday 14 November 2008.

You will probably have collected money from many different sources and may have received funds by cash, cheque or credit card; so to make the banking process as simple and easy as possible we have created the following step-by-step instructions.

Step 1 – Work out how much you have raised

Gather all your donations in the one space calculate how much you have raised.

Don’t forget to tell all your guests how much they have helped you raise!

Step 2 – Complete the Return Slip

You will have received a personalised return slip with your host kit. Make sure you check all the pre-completed details are correct and complete the rest of the form.

Step 3 – Banking your funds

There are several ways you can return your funds to the Cancer Council

Bank – take the money directly to the bank and use the deposit slip provided. It is important that you use the deposit slip provided so we can track the funds back to you.

BPAY (NSW, VIC, ACT and SA only) – keep the money raised and transfer the funds from your account. See the deposit slip provided for your BPAY biller code and reference number.

Credit Card – keep the money raised and transfer the funds by credit card. Simply enter your details on the return slip and send it back to us in the envelope provided.

Cheque/money order – obtain a bank cheque or money order, made out to your state office of the Cancer Council of Australia and post back with the return slip in the envelope provided.

If you have received individual donations by cheque or credit card, please just include in the envelope with the return slip and we will bank.

Step 4 – Return all the paperwork to your Cancer Council State office

Please enclose the return slip, deposit slip stub, cheques and all pledge forms (we need these to enable us to receipt your guests) and the questionnaire in the envelope provided and mail back to the Cancer Council in your state or territory.
